The MS Readathon is Australia's premier reading-based fundraiser.
Running for the month of June, it's a fun, educational and rewarding addition to your current classroom and extra-curricular reading activities, suitable for students of all ages and reading stages.
School reward incentive To recognise the important role teachers and librarians play in encouraging children during the MS Readathon, we are offering every school with 20 or more children registered online in the 2009 MS Readathon, a Penguin book-pack for their library!
Complements any school literacy focus The MS Readathon has no set book list, allowing students to include home readers, classroom texts and books from the Premiers Reading Challenge in their reading.
Minimal school involvement Once children are registered, MS Readathon communicates with them directly via their home address. This removes any need for schools to collect monies or distribute reading rewards.
