Moira has participated in the MS readathon for the last two years raising $2,639.95. This year she was very happy to be the top fundraiser in the Northern Territory.

Moira spends a lot of time reading, not only visiting her school library also the Alice Springs Public Library. This year she read 36 books over the 30 days.

When asked why she likes to participate in the MS Readathon Moira said “To help people with MS and hopefully one day they will find a cure, I enjoy being a part of the MS Readathon”

Allow us to introduce…Peta Butterfield, a valuable volunteer who works in the MS Readathon office every Thursday and Friday. Peta joined the Victorian MS Readathon team earlier this year, rolled up her sleeves and jumped right in!

Peta is kept very busy replying to lots of your emails and also speaking to many of our wonderful MS Readathon participants and school Reader Leaders on the phone (she may have even spoken to you!!).

She does many other things to help out around the office as well - we like to call her a ‘Jill of all trades’!

Peta is a dedicated, hard working lady who we think is pretty special!!

If you ever get the chance to speak to Peta on the phone, don’t forget to say a big THANK-YOU!
