Hero of the week

Throughout the MS Readathon kids and adults are doing many wonderful things.
Harry Wilsdon

This year, at age 69, Harry Wilsdon participated in his first ever MS Readathon… which just goes to show you are never too old to try something new or to have a go at something!

Harry decided to participate because it is something he has always wanted to do and he wanted to show that it’s not only for children.

Harry says the best part about participating was knowing that he’s helping people who are living with MS and raising funds to find a cure. He said it was

fantastic to see how many people got behind him and sponsored him.

Harry raised a massive $2318! He hopes that his involvement this year will inspire other adults to get involved – and he’s challenging EVERYONE to get their parents and grandparents into reading to help people with MS.

You’re an inspiration to us, Harry! Thank you for your wonderful efforts.

Become a Hero

Your ongoing support from year to year is essential to the continued success of the MS Readathon. We love that children come back from year to year, continuing to show their commitment to people with multiple sclerosis.

Each week we are going to acknowledge a new MS Readathon hero here. In the pages relating to your state or territory, we also feature our monthly Shining Stars.
